Hill Top Resort, at Grand Beach Manitoba — July 5, 2025 — Get ready for one of the wildest off-road events of the summer! The Hill Top Resort Tough Truck Challenge is coming back, and it’s bigger, bolder, and muddier than ever! Join us for an adrenaline-pumping race through a rugged obstacle course featuring logs, rocks, tires, and deep mud.
This budget-friendly event is open to all off-road enthusiasts, with entry just $50 per vehicle—and that includes camping! Whether you drive a stock 4×4 or a heavily modified beast, there’s a class for you. Stock class vehicles will kick things off at 12 noon, followed by the modified class. A professionally set start and finish line will determine winners based on the fastest lap in each class. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in both classes! Plus more TBA!
Event Schedule:
- 12:00 PM – Stock Class Begins
- 2:00 PM (approx.) – Modified Class Begins
- 4:00–5:00 PM – Single Bounty Hole Challenge
- 8:00 PM – Bonfire Bash with Live Music & Burnouts in the Concert Bowl
Entry Information:
- $50 per vehicle (includes overnight camping)
- Open to stock and modified 4x4s
- Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in both classes
Safety First:
- All participants must follow event rules, including the use of helmets, appropriate safety gear, and functional safety equipment on all vehicles. Complete rules are outlined below.
General Rules for All Participants:
- No alcohol in the pit area
- Full-face helmet with eye protection required
- Shirts and long pants required; no open-toed shoes
- Factory lap belts required (4-point harness recommended)
- Fire extinguisher recommended
- Non-stock fuel tanks must be secured, covered, and made of safe materials
- No exposed fuel lines in the driver’s compartment
- Battery must be secured and covered
- Working brakes required
- Recovery points required
- Windows must be rolled down; less glass is better
- All lug nuts must be present and tight
Stock Class Rules:
- Open to all 4×4 vehicles
- Must be or have been street legal
- Factory suspension with lift up to 3.5 inches
- Max tire size: 33” DOT tires (no tractor, ATV, or implement tires)
- No nitrous, aftermarket turbos, or superchargers
- Must have a roof and doors
Modified Class Rules:
- “Run what you brung” attitude
- Any truck with engine, radiator, driver’s compartment, or suspension modified beyond 3.5 inches of lift
- Must have either a factory roof or roll cage
